Harrell Engines LA

In 1932 brothers Jim and Nick Harrell opened their first shop together under the name Jim's Auto Parts. During this explosive expansion of car culture in Los Angeles, Jim and Nick among others found thrill and challenge in building fast cars. By the end of WWII, the Harrell Brothers enjoyed many record wins at the dry lakes and had developed their own in-house heads and intake manifolds for flathead Ford V8's.

Today their great grand nephew Alec Harrell has brought their legacy back to life building traditional hot rods in the same spirit and style. From general repair and maintenance to restoration and custom builds, Harrell Engines Los Angeles survives today providing the same passion and quality that established the Harrell name.
